Sea glass starts out as discarded bottles that end up on the beach to be broken by the force of the ocean and then tumbled smooth by waves. The entire process can take 7-10 years of constant buffeting to get that smooth, frosted gem appearance we recognize as sea glass. Our Sea Glass soap embodies the tang of the salty sea air with the beauty of melt and pour "sea glass" embeds. You can almost feel the sand between your toes when you use this unique bar of soap!
Milk soaps contain a naturally occurring alpha-hydroxy acid called lactic acid. Lactic acid aids in the exfoliation of dead skin cells similar to (but less powerful than) retinol, revealing a younger more glowing complexion and softer skin. Coconut milk adds to the creaminess of the lather but doesn't have the lactic acid present in dairy products. Some say that coconut milk soaps gently clean skin without over drying or irritation and claim that they are an excellent option for those with sensitive skin.
